In the present moment we are resilient. We find our wellbeing.

Take a moment to pause and find your breath. Allow your inhale lighten you and connect you with the sky above. Allow your exhale to connect you to the earth below. With each inhale, notice yourself feeing a  little lighter and taller, and more connected to the universe around you. With each exhale allow gravity to drop your shoulders, and jaw. Allowing your muscles to soften around skeleton, and feel the connection of your feet on the earth.

Notice the space immediately around you, about an arm length out, 360 degrees. Feel centered in the space as you put your attention on the  space behind you. Allow yourself to feel supported by the space behind. Then notice the space to your right and left sides. This space represents community and connection. Allow yourself to feel held through the connection of the space to both sides. Then noticing the space immediately in front of you. I like to think of it as the empty space of possibility, what is next. What do I want to fill this next moment with? It is there that I can ask myself: What is the one thing I can do right now? What do I want to fill this empty space of opportunity with in this exact moment?

Coming back to your breath and inhale to lengthen and connect with the sky above. Exhale to soften and connect with the earth below. Asking: What if I felt just a little more ease in my body right now? What might that feel like? Allowing your body to answer, noticing just a little more ease.

And then connecting with your heart. Saying to yourself:

May I be happy.

May I be peaceful.

May I be healthy.

May I be filled with ease.

And then taking a moment to think of your loved ones, saying to them from your heart:

May you be happy.

May you be peaceful.

May you be healthy and filled with ease.

We all lose our selves in our thoughts and fears. The power is coming back to the present moment. It is here that we know what is important and we know what to do.

Stay safe and be well. Wishing you love, peace and ease, today and always.

Yes there is fear.
Yes there is isolation.
Yes there is panic buying.
Yes there is sickness.
Yes there is even death.
They say that in Wuhan after so many years of noise
You can hear the birds again.
They say that after just a few weeks of quiet
The sky is no longer thick with fumes
But blue and grey and clear.
They say that in the streets of Assisi
People are singing to each other
across the empty squares,
keeping their windows open
so that those who are alone
may hear the sounds of family around them.
They say that a hotel in the West of Ireland
Is offering free meals and delivery to the housebound.
Today a young woman I know
is busy spreading fliers with her number
through the neighbourhood
So that the elders may have someone to call on.
Today Churches, Synagogues, Mosques and Temples
are preparing to welcome
and shelter the homeless, the sick, the weary
All over the world people are slowing down and reflecting
All over the world people are looking at their neighbours in a new way
All over the world people are waking up to a new reality
To how big we really are.
To how little control we really have.
To what really matters.
To Love.
So we pray and we remember that
Yes there is fear.
But there does not have to be hate.
Yes there is isolation.
But there does not have to be loneliness.
Yes there is panic buying.
But there does not have to be meanness.
Yes there is sickness.
But there does not have to be disease of the soul
Yes there is even death.
But there can always be a rebirth of love.
Wake to the choices you make as to how to live now.
Today, breathe.
Listen, behind the factory noises of your panic
The birds are singing again
The sky is clearing,
Spring is coming,
And we are always encompassed by Love.
Open the windows of your soul
And though you may not be able
to touch across the empty square,
